The agreement for using Udapt

1 Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Udapt, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2 The service

Udapt reads data from Apple Health (or a morning check-in) and produces a daily training and nutrition plan on your device. It is provided as a consumer wellness app for iPhone, with an optional companion Apple Watch app.

3 Wellness, not medical advice

Udapt is a wellness tool, not a medical device, and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Its training and nutrition suggestions are general guidance based on published research and your own logged data — they are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, physiotherapist, registered dietitian or other qualified professional. Talk to a suitably qualified professional before making significant changes to your training, diet, or if you have an existing injury or health condition. Udapt is not intended for anyone experiencing a medical emergency.

4 Eligibility

Udapt is intended for users aged 13 and over. By using Udapt you confirm you meet this age requirement.

5 Subscriptions & billing

Udapt is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID / App Store account:

• Prices shown are for the United Kingdom. In other countries and regions the App Store charges the local equivalent, shown to you before you confirm any purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
• If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged for the plan you chose.

6 Your health data

See our Privacy Policy for full detail on what Udapt reads, writes and stores. In short: your data stays on your device, with one disclosed exception for barcode scanning.

7 Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of Udapt, except where applicable law expressly permits it. Don't use Udapt in any way that violates applicable law.

8 Intellectual property

Udapt, its design, and its underlying code are the property of its developer. Using the app doesn't grant you any ownership over it.

9 Third-party data sources

Udapt's bundled food database draws on USDA FoodData Central, UK CoFID, ANSES-CIQUAL and the Australian Food Composition Database, each used under its own open licence (see the app's Settings → About). Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts. Udapt is not responsible for the accuracy of data supplied by these third parties.

10 Disclaimer of warranties

Udapt is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any training, nutrition or readiness figure it produces will suit your individual circumstances.

11 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Udapt's developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app — including any decision made in reliance on training, nutrition or readiness information it displays. Our total liability for any claim relating to Udapt will not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12 Termination

You can stop using Udapt at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.

13 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store listing's version notes and the "Effective" date above will change.

14 Apple as a third-party beneficiary

These terms are between you and Udapt's developer only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Udapt. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Udapt. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you relating to Udapt, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection law. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

15 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
